About This Call
The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the January Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.
This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Entry fee is $30 for up to 5 image submissions (minimum 3 images required). The show runs Wednesday, January 5th through Thursday, January 27th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on January 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags per piece (one for the back, one for wall display), no larger than 3.5" x 5", labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Local artists should deliver work December 31st or January 3rd (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and pick up January 28th or 29th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). National artists may ship work with prepaid return labels using FedEx, UPS, or USPS in reusable cartons. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks of the closing date. The gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage; artists are responsible for independently insuring their work. Artwork not picked up within 30 days of closing will be donated to charity.
