January Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for its January Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The exhibition runs Wednesday, January 3rd through Thursday, January 25th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on January 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags (3.5" x 5" maximum) for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. The entry fee is $30.00. Eligibility is open to artists and photographers 18 years or older nationwide. All artwork must be original and for sale.

Local artists should deliver work Friday, December 29th or Saturday, December 30th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Pick-up is Friday, January 26th or Saturday, January 27th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork anytime after selection through Saturday, December 30th. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipped artwork must include a return prepaid shipping label. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date.
