Jan/Feb Member Show

The Society of West Coast Artists invites members to submit work for the Jan/Feb Member Show, running January 15 – February 27, 2026 at the SWA Fine Art Center in San Francisco.

Eligibility and Requirements: Open to SWA members only. Artists may enter up to 4 works. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $20 per additional entry. Work must be original art completed within the last three years in the following mediums: Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic/Mixed Media, Pastel, or Non-representational. Paintings must be framed with flat hangers and wire only; no hardware should project beyond the back of the frame. Size requirements: minimum 10" per side or 100 square inches in area; maximum 48" or 2304 square inches in area, including frame. The same painting may be entered in only two non-consecutive shows, plus one Annual Show. A short biography must be provided with each entry.

Submission Guidelines: Submit high-quality JPEG images only. Images must be at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge and no larger than 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself, with no visible matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and well-lit. Photographs used must be original work by the artist or used with permission from the copyright holder. No classwork, copies, computerized art, work printed by commercial process, oil paintings under glass/Plexiglas, or paintings over photographs are permitted.
