Jacksonville Jaguars Miller Electric Center Exterior Mural - Project 5 of 7

This is a public art opportunity to design one large-format digital mural for the Jacksonville Jaguars Miller Electric Center. The mural will be printed on opaque vinyl and installed on one of three locations along the South Façade of the Fan Amenity Grandstands, viewable from the exterior only. The mural location measures 12 feet high by 53 feet 11 inches wide and will be installed on flat architectural precast wall panels.

Artists must be over 21 years old, not currently enrolled in a formal degree program, and have been creating and installing public art for more than three years. The mural art design honorarium is $5,000, which includes all costs to the artist for artwork proposals, design, electronic submission, and travel. Selected artists will be required to develop proposals, present final designs, coordinate with the project management team, and submit print-ready digital files according to specifications provided by the vinyl printer.

Application deadline is October 28, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Submissions must include an artist statement, current resume, letter of interest, contact information for all team members, 3-7 images with descriptions of completed mural projects, and three professional references. The project timeline includes finalist notification by November 21-23, 2022, finalist concept designs due January 20, 2023, final design due March 2, 2023, and site installation scheduled for May 15 - June 16, 2023, with a grand opening dedication ceremony planned for summer 2023.
