Jacksonville Jaguars Miller Electric Center Exterior Mural - Project 4 of 7

This is a public art opportunity for a monumental digital mural designed for the north façade of the Jacksonville Jaguars Indoor Practice Facility. The mural will be printed on transparent vinyl and installed on polycarbonate, viewable from both the exterior and interior of the building. The mural dimensions are 23'10.25" high by 407'8.25" wide. The substrate surface is Kingspan Polycarbonate (Clear Matte), and the vinyl film must be IJ8150 Film using UV, Latex, or Solvent Ink, protected with 8518 Overlaminate.

Artists selected as finalists will receive a $1,000 honorarium. The awarded artist will receive $35,000, which covers all costs including artwork proposals, design, electronic submission, and travel. Selected artists will be required to complete an RFQ response, develop proposals, present final designs, coordinate with project management, and submit print-ready digital files. Community engagement site visits are optional and can be conducted virtually if needed.

Eligibility: Artists must be over 21 years old, not currently enrolled in a formal degree program, and have been practicing artists for more than seven years. Applicants must submit an artist statement, current resume, letter of interest, contact information for all team members, 7-10 images with descriptions of completed mural projects, and three professional references. The application deadline is October 28, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The project timeline includes finalist notification by November 23, 2022, concept designs due January 20, 2023, final design due March 2, 2023, and site installation May 15 - June 16, 2023, with a grand opening dedication ceremony planned for summer 2023.
