About This Call
The International Society of Acrylic Painters invites artists ages 18-29 to submit work to the "30 Under 30" Online International Open Show. Artists may enter up to two paintings per submission at $35 for up to two entries, payable through PayPal. Digital entries only.
Submitted digital images must be no smaller than 1200 pixels on the longest side, in JPEG format only, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Work must conform to the concept of being 80% acrylic on any surface. Entries cannot have been previously accepted in any other ISAP show. Images can already be sold, but artists are encouraged to price their work.
Juror Nancy Reyner, a Contemporary Abstract Painter with over 30 years of experience, will judge both show acceptance and awards. Cash awards include: Best of Show - $600, First Place - $400, Second Place - $200, Third Place - $100, and four Honorable Mentions at $50 each. Additional donor awards include Artwork Archive Lifetime Professional Membership and materials certificates from Cheap Joe's Art Stuff, M Graham, Creative Catalyst Productions, and Jack Richeson & Co. (USA only for material certificates). Entries open June 1, 2019. Jurying occurs September 1-10, 2019, with acceptance notifications by September 11, 2019, and posting of the show and awards on the ISAP website by September 15, 2019. No refunds. All results are final.
