Is it done yet?

Gallery 114, one of the oldest artist-owned and artist-run collectives on the west coast, is located in Portland, Oregon's Pearl District. For the exhibition "Is it done yet?," the gallery invites innovative artists who test boundaries and explore creative freedom. All 2 and 3 dimensional media are welcome. Works must be original, with individual pieces not exceeding 7 feet in height and 5 feet in width. Prices for a single piece should not exceed $5,000.

Submission deadline is May 5, 2022 at 11:00 p.m. Central Time. The entry fee is $35 for up to three submissions. Applicants must submit up to three images of their work along with title, size, medium, price, and a brief description of how the work reflects the theme. Artists must be 18 years or older to apply. Notification of acceptance will be sent on May 8, 2022.

The exhibition runs from June 2 to June 25, 2022. Accepted work must be installation-ready, framed or encased with appropriate hanging hardware and installation instructions. Shipping via FedEx is accepted, with works arriving by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022. Local artists may deliver by Saturday, May 28 at 5 p.m., or hand deliver during gallery hours (12-5 p.m. Friday-Sunday). Gallery 114 will insure works on site up to $5,000 per piece. All work must be picked up by 5 p.m. June 25, 2022. Gallery 114 handles all sales with a 35% commission. Artists are responsible for all shipping and return shipping costs.
