About This Call
IRREVERSIBLE is seeking contemporary visual artists for a juried competition. Winning work will be published in IRREVERSIBLE Limited Edition Magazine during Art Basel Miami week in December 2014. Ten artists will be selected by a panel of noted jurors for recognition in publication and through a physical exhibition.
Submissions must include 10 images, and may include up to 1 audio file and 1 video file (12 samples maximum). The entry fee is $70.00. Up to 3 applications are allowed per artist. International artists are eligible.
The jury evaluates submissions based on quality of work, presentation, and alignment with IRREVERSIBLE Magazine's mission. Criteria include educational value, public impact, creativity and originality, technical skill, and thoroughness in presentation. The quality of work photography and application information are considered extremely important in the review process.
