Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas hosts the Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition, a prestigious biennial show funded by an endowment established by notable Pine Bluff resident Irene Rosenzweig. The exhibition provides an opportunity for established and up-and-coming artists to gain recognition and earn prizes, while allowing ASC to grow its Permanent Collection.

The exhibition is open to artists 18 and older residing in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Accepted artwork forms include paintings, drawings, original prints, fiber art, ceramics, sculpture, photography, video, and digital works. Video and digital works require the artist to provide all necessary components (projector, screen, tablet, computer, etc.), which must be affixed with no separate parts. Performance and installation works are not accepted. Only original artworks completed on or after January 1, 2020 are eligible; reproductions and AI or AI-enhanced works are not allowed.

Entry fee is $25 per entry, with up to 5 entries accepted per artist. Submissions require one JPG image per entry (minimum 300 DPI resolution), identified by artist's last name and artwork title. Two-dimensional entries must be framed and ready for display, between 8x10 inches and 70x70 inches. Three-dimensional entries may not exceed 30 pounds or 30x30 inches. The exhibition runs September 18, 2025 through January 24, 2026. Prizes include Best in Show ($1,000), First Place ($500), Second Place ($200), three $100 Merit Awards, and $2,000 in Purchase Awards. Awards will be announced at a 6 p.m. reception on September 18 and via Facebook and Instagram.
