IPHF International Photography Contest 2022

The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum (IPHF) is hosting a juried international photography contest. Now in its sixth decade, IPHF is dedicated to honoring excellence in photography through its Hall of Fame and exhibitions featuring classic and contemporary photography. All 2-dimensional photographic works in all subjects and disciplines are eligible.

Submission dates are April 1st through May 15th, 2022. Jury notification will be sent via email on May 31st, 2022. The exhibition opens to the public on July 13th, 2022, with an opening reception from 6pm-8pm on July 12th, 2022 at the International Photography Hall of Fame in St. Louis, MO. Limited refreshments will be available.

Entry fees are $25 for IPHF members and $35 for non-members, covering up to three works. Additional works can be submitted for $10 per item, up to a maximum of ten total images. Image files must be JPEG or JPG format, under 5MB, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. No watermarks or signatures are allowed on submitted works. Images selected for the final exhibition will be printed by IPHF at a maximum size of 16x20". Final image files must be submitted in RGB mode at 300 dpi with longest dimensions around 4800×6000 pixels.

Awards include First Place: $1,000, Second Place: $500, Third Place: $250, and Honorable Mention: $100. Limit one prize per person. Eligible artists must be 18 years of age or older and submit original work not completed under instruction. Jurors, employees, and volunteers of the organization are not eligible to enter.
