Intersection of Art & AI

The Sasse Museum of Art is hosting a juried exhibition exploring the intersection of art and artificial intelligence. The exhibition will examine five distinct categories—Architecture, Nature, Abstract, Religious, and People—providing a comprehensive view of AI's potential in artistic innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to display their work and contribute to a critical conversation about authorship, creativity, and the emerging role of AI in artistic practice.

Up to 100 artists will be selected, with one piece per artist included in the digital catalog. Selected works will be featured in an online catalog gallery on the Sasse Museum of Art website and in a printed catalog available for purchase on Amazon. Best of Show, Founder's Choice, Juror's Choice, and four selections from each category will be printed and framed for the exhibit and become part of the museum's permanent collection at no additional cost to artists.

Awards include: Best in Show ($250), Founder's Choice ($150), Juror's Choice, and 1st-4th place in each category. The juror is Stephen Childs, a Los Angeles-based artist and educator with an MFA from Claremont Graduate University and a professor and exhibitions director at Azusa Pacific University. Entry fee is $40 for the first submission and $15 for additional entries. Submissions must be JPEG files between 3-5 mb at 300 ppi with image quality of 10 or above. Open to all artists worldwide regardless of age or experience. Exhibition opens August 1, 2025 and closes August 30, 2025. Catalog becomes available on Amazon August 10, 2025.
