About This Call
Intersect Arts Center seeks entries for an art exhibition held in conjunction with STL's CommUNITY Arts Festival, September 7-8, 2019. This exhibition addresses issues of community, violence, and awareness while exploring conflict resolution, healing, and restoration. The festival aims to use art as a means to communicate, educate, and heal the community.
Regional artists within 250 miles are encouraged to submit 3-5 works in 2D or 3D media in any format, including new media, that align with the exhibition theme. Entry fee is $15.00. Submissions must include a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 images, with the option to include up to 5 audio or video files. Works submitted by July 4th will be considered for exhibition.
Important dates: Artwork drop-off is August 24th (10am-4pm) and August 26th-27th (9am-6pm). The exhibition opens September 7th with the Community Arts Festival running through September 8th, and closes October 4th. Artwork pick-up is October 7th (9am-6pm).
