About This Call
The International Symposium for Visual Culture & Exhibition 2026 invites artists, scholars, and researchers from around the world to participate. The event combines an online symposium with an international exhibition held at the CICA Museum in Yangchon-eup, Gimpo-si, South Korea.
The online symposium will be held on September 19, 2026. The international exhibition runs from September 9 to 27, 2026, with each artist able to exhibit up to two works. Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture.
Participating artists and researchers will be featured in the publication "New Media Art 2027," to be released in full-color paperback and eBook formats in December 2026. Contributions may include English texts (such as interviews, essays, or poetry), drawings, and images introducing the artist's work. The submission deadline is January 5, 2026. (Event dates are subject to change.)
