International Society of Experimental Artists 28th Annual Juried Exhibition

The International Society of Experimental Artists will host the 28th Annual Juried Exhibition from September 7 to October 26, 2019 at LowellArts in Lowell, Michigan. All artists 18 years and older are invited to enter one piece in this all-media exhibition. ISEA will print a full color catalog of the exhibition, which all members and accepted non-members will receive.

The exhibition accepts 2D artwork, 3D artwork, and small installations (no video). Original experimental artwork completed within the last three years and not previously shown in ISEA exhibits is eligible. Commercial reproductions and giclée prints will not be accepted; traditional print media, photography, and digital art should be from a limited edition. 2D artwork (framed and matted with Plexiglas) must not exceed 48 inches in any direction and weigh no more than 25 lbs. 3D artwork must fit through a standard door-frame and be no larger than 62 inches in any direction, easily handled by two people. Applicants must provide a written statement explaining the experimental aspects of their work.

Approximately $10,000 in prizes will be awarded, including a $2,000 Best of Show Award. Entry fees are $30 for ISEA members and $55 for non-members. Submissions must include 1-2 digital images in JPG format at 300 DPI, sized 7 inches or less on the longest side, and under 5MB. The deadline for entry is June 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. This year's juror is Joseph Becherer, director of the Snite Art Museum at the University of Notre Dame.
