International Exhibition on Animals in Art 2022

The International Exhibition on Animals in Art ran for 28 years before being put on hiatus due to building renovations and the pandemic. The exhibition returns in Fall 2022 to celebrate animals in art. Pieces must depict an animal (fish and insects are considered animals for the purposes of this exhibition). Any work determined not to meet the spirit of the exhibit will not be accepted.

The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine is one of only 33 veterinary schools in the U.S. and the only one in Louisiana. LSU Vet Med is dedicated to improving and protecting the lives of animals and people through superior education, transformational research, and compassionate care.

Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 years of age or older. All media accepted with the exception of video, installation, and audio works. Works must be original and priced and available for sale. Maximum size of entry is 60"x60"x48". Each applicant may submit a maximum of three works. Any accepted artwork that differs from the digital image will be disqualified. Entry fee: $20.00. Media fee: $15.00. Exhibition dates: October 1 - November 1, 2022.
