International Art Competition to Exhibit during Miami Art Basel and $500 Grand Prize

Viophilia Gallery, a contemporary art gallery located in Wynwood, Miami, Florida, is accepting submissions for an International Art Competition during Miami Art Basel. The competition is open to all professional and emerging artists from anywhere in the world who are at least 18 years old. Artists may submit original visual art in any style and medium, including pop-art, abstract art, realism, and contemporary art, in formats such as painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sculpture. Video, audio, and film are not accepted. Submissions must be high-resolution JPEG images with artwork title, dimensions, medium, and price included.

The grand prize winner will receive $500 in cash and an exhibition at Viophilia Gallery during Miami Art Basel opening night on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Additionally, 15 finalists will be selected to exhibit their work during the opening night, with 2 finalists selected per category across 5 categories. Award winners will be featured on the Viophilia website. The submission deadline is November 15, 2015, with artist notification on November 18, 2015. The entry fee is $30.00. Artists are responsible for shipping and returning their artwork and must agree to a 50% commission if their work is sold. The 2014 grand prize winner is not eligible to enter.
