Inspired By Nature - An Exhibition of Sculptural Clay Works

The Art Gallery at Western Wyoming Community College invites submissions for Inspired By Nature - An Exhibition of Sculptural Clay Works. The exhibition will showcase works that speak to current issues, explore fresh perspectives within the discipline, or demonstrate the breadth of possibilities available while working with clay as a sculptural element, either partially or fully.

Artworks must include some element of fired clay and should clearly demonstrate the artist's use of aestheticism. Works must be displayable in a traditional gallery setting on pedestals or as wall hangings. Artists may submit up to five images: three images for a $20 entry fee, with up to two additional images at $5 each. Accepted artworks must be labeled on the back or bottom with the artist's name, title, medium, and price (or insurance value if not for sale). Artists must ship their work at their own expense and include a self-addressed return shipping label; packing peanuts should not be used.

Accepted artwork will be insured by the gallery at 50% of the listed sales price or the listed insurance value if not for sale. The gallery takes a 50% commission on sales and requires artists to submit a W-9 form if their work is for sale. Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition (12/12/2025 - 3/16/2026). Accepted artwork is due at the gallery by 12/5/2025. Jurying will be complete by 11/15/2025. Artists must be 18 or older to apply. International submissions are eligible.
