Inspiration

Webster Arts invites art submissions for the all-media exhibition "Inspiration." The exhibition runs November 12 - December 21, 2018. Artists are encouraged to think broadly about the theme: What inspires you? What inspires a culture? What does it mean to have inspiration? What does inspiration look like?

All 2D and 3D media is welcome. Wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" x 48" or 15 pounds. Free-standing pieces may not exceed 32" x 32" x 60" or weigh more than 50 lbs. No floor or ceiling hung installations or video are permitted. All work must be the original conception and execution of the artist and not previously exhibited at Webster Arts. No reproductions or photographs printed on canvas without prior permission.

The exhibition is open to artists age 18 and older residing in the US or abroad. Entry fee is $30 for up to three separate entries submitted as JPEG digital images (no larger than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi, 5 MB maximum). Submission deadline is October 8, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified by email on October 19. Artwork must be received or delivered by November 5, 2018. The opening reception is November 13, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Artwork return and pick-up is January 2-4 during office hours, 9-5. The juror is Michele Wells, an award-winning pastel artist. Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales.
