INNOVATIONS: International Society of Experimental Artists 30th Annual Open Juried Exhibition

ISEA hosts "INNOVATIONS," the 30th Annual Juried Exhibition from September 6 to October 24, 2021 at Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island, Michigan. All artists 18 years and older are invited to enter one piece in this all-media exhibition. ISEA prints a full color catalog of each exhibition, which all members and accepted non-members will receive.

ISEA was formed in 1991 to provide a venue for all mediums in annual juried exhibitions within the United States or abroad. The society explores new techniques, composition approaches, and concepts. Artwork can be realistic or abstract; the approach to making the art and aesthetic results are what count. Approximately $15,000 in prizes are offered, including a $2,000 Best of Show Award. Up to 90 pieces of art will be accepted, including 2D, 3D, small installations, and video.

Original experimental artwork completed within the last three years and not previously shown in ISEA exhibits is eligible. Commercial reproductions and giclée prints are not accepted. Traditional print media, photography, and digital art must be from a limited edition. Artwork must be submitted ready to hang with no substitutes permitted. Artists must provide a written statement (1000 characters or less) about the experimental aspects of their work. Entry fee is $55. Accepted artwork must be shipped between August 15-25, 2021. Shipping fees are the artist's responsibility. Notification of acceptance will be sent April 15, 2021.
