INNER SENSE

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition titled INNER SENSE. The theme explores identity and inner self: within each of us, a rich tapestry of experiences, emotions, and thoughts shapes who we are. Artists are invited to delve deep into the core of the self, unveiling the essence, character, and spirit that construct identities. The exhibition asks: what stories do we carry, and how do they shape our perceptions and interactions with the world?

Submissions are open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, digital art, and film/video. Artists may submit up to 20 total works (images and/or videos). Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. For 3D work, detail shots do not require additional fees. Images must be submitted in JPEG format at 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, maximum 5 MB. Accepted video formats include MOV, MP4, and WMV with aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, minimum resolution 640x480, maximum 1920x1080, under 100 MB file size.

All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, September 29, 2023. Artists receive 100% of sales. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits or copied/done under instructor guidance is not eligible. A W-9 form is required from winners of cash awards over $600.
