Indy Art Center Faculty Biennial 2025

This call is open to Faculty and Studio Program Managers of the Indy Art Center and Fishers Art Center only. The Faculty Biennial is an opportunity to showcase recent and exciting work to Art Center students, patrons, and the Indianapolis community. Faculty members can submit up to 6 entries for consideration, and every faculty member who submits an application will have a minimum of one piece accepted for display.

The exhibition will be juried internally by the exhibitions department. There is no restriction on size, medium, or content of work. The jury committee will prioritize available gallery space and, if necessary, consider diversity of media represented in the show to showcase artworks reflecting all studios and programs at the Indy Art Center. Work must be made within the last two years and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center. All work must be original and made by the artist or artist team, and must be gallery ready with any necessary installation hardware. Installation artists should contact the Art Center before applying to ensure space compatibility.

Applications require images of up to 6 works and a brief artist statement. Acceptance notifications will be sent by April 29, 2025. Artwork drop-off is April 30 - May 23, 2025 (no drop-off during Broad Ripple Art Fair on May 17-18). Installation is May 27 - June 15, 2025. The exhibition opens June 16, 2025 and closes July 27, 2025. Artwork pick-up is July 28 - August 3, 2025.
