In-Sight's Youth Photo Awards: Regional Contest

In-Sight's Youth Photo Awards is a regional photography competition for youth ages 11-18 who live in Vermont or within an hour of Brattleboro, VT. This includes youth living north to Lebanon, NH, south to Northampton, MA, east to Peterborough, NH, and west to Charlemont, MA.

Participants can submit up to 5 images total across one or more of the following categories: Analog & Alternative Process, Environments & Animals, Forms & Objects, and People & Culture. The submission fee is $10, with reduced pricing available for In-Sight students and alumni. Images must be jpegs, 3000 pixels on the long side, in sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) color space, and no larger than 3MB. Images must be your own original work, and images that have won an award with In-Sight in the past cannot be submitted.

Each category has two jurors who are leading experts in their field, and the jury decision process is blind. All fees support the award ceremony. Participants receive a participation certificate and their image in the virtual gallery. Winners receive: Gift cards to B&H Photo Video ($600 first place, $300 second place, $100 third place), a print of the winning image by Cone Editions Press, inclusion in the Winner's Circle Exhibition at In-Sight and Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, and their image included in In-Sight's Annual Anthology of Images.
