In-Sight's Youth Photo Awards: National Contest

In-Sight's Youth Photo Awards is open to youth ages 11-18 who live in Vermont or within an hour of Brattleboro, VT. This includes youth living north to Lebanon, NH, south to Northampton, MA, east to Peterborough, NH, and west to Charlemont, MA.

Participants submit a series of 5 images to the Your Perspective category to tell a story about themselves, their life, or their community. The submission fee is $20, with reduced pricing available for In-Sight students and alumni. Images must be jpegs, 3000 pixels on the long side, in sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) color space, and no larger than 3MB. Images must be original work, and images that have previously won an award with In-Sight cannot be submitted.

The jury process is blind and features two leading experts in their field. Winners receive B&H Photo Video gift cards ($600 first place, $300 second place, $100 third place), a print of the winning image by Cone Editions Press, inclusion in the Winner's Circle Exhibition at In-Sight and Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, and publication in In-Sight's Annual Anthology of Images.
