In Sight - Photography

In Sight - Photography is an online juried exhibition hosted by O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley, CA. The show will be displayed online from May 15 to June 30 at ohanloncenter.org. Submissions are accepted from April 7 to May 7 by 11:00 pm Pacific Time. Artists will be notified via email by May 12 at 5pm Pacific of jury results.

Each artist may submit up to 3 photographs for consideration. Photography is the only media accepted. Diptychs and Triptychs are considered 1 piece of work and must be submitted as one image. The entry fee is $40 for non-members and $30 for O'Hanlon Members (use coupon code OH30). Limited partial scholarships are available; contact [email protected] for information. New members joining at the Artist level ($140/1 year) receive a free submission. Works do not need to be for sale. This is a blind jury. Works previously shown at the O'Hanlon Gallery online are not eligible for consideration. The exhibition is open to all photographers ages 16 and older worldwide.

The exhibition is juried by Shana Lopes, PhD, Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The show theme explores the concept of "In Sight" - inviting photographers to consider how they convey clear, deep understanding through their work. Contemporary, exploratory, and experimental entries are encouraged. A Zoom roundtable art discussion will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 4 pm Pacific time to celebrate the show. The show will be archived on the O'Hanlon Center website after closing.
