In Pursuit III: d'Arts Annual Juried Virginia College & University Student Art Exhibition

In Pursuit III is a juried exhibition of original 2D and 3D artworks from Virginia College and University art students. The exhibition features work in a variety of styles and is open exclusively to Virginia College or University art students currently enrolled in their institution's art program. Work cannot exceed 60 inches in its longest dimension and cannot exceed 50 pounds.

The exhibition runs from September 25 to October 10, 2021, with a public reception on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 5:30-7:30pm. The d'Art Center will host an in-person reception according to state COVID guidelines, stream the reception awards on Facebook Live, upload the award video to YouTube, and list exhibiting pieces for sale on the d'Art Center website. The exhibition will be curated by gallery manager Amanda Bradley and juried by d'Art Center's professional artists.

Entry fees are $20.00 for 3 works (one image per submission) and $5.00 for each additional submission, with a maximum of 10 works. Submissions must include 3-10 images. Artists must submit 3 images minimum; these can be of different works or detail images of the same work. Accepted works must arrive by September 17, 2021. Awards include 1st Place ($300), 2nd Place ($200), and 3rd Place ($100). Notifications will be sent by email by September 6, 2021. All work must be original, created without instructor aid, and produced within the last five years. Work must be hang/presentation ready. The d'Art Center is not responsible for damage during shipping; artists should insure their work. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels via UPS or FedEx.
