In Bloom

In Bloom is an exhibition at the Kavanagh Gallery of Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois, running from December 18, 2025, to February 6, 2026. The gallery will be closed to the public from December 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026. This national exhibition is open to artists 18 and older who reside in the United States. The show showcases artwork featuring plants, including their flowers, fruits, and leaves as subjects. Both 2D and 3D works in any medium are welcome for consideration.

Artists may submit up to 3 original pieces. Images must be of the actual work to be exhibited. All pieces must be for sale and must not have been previously shown at Fine Line. An artist statement limited to 1000 characters is required. The entry fee is $35.00. Jury decisions will be based on creativity, quality of artistry, and originality. Artists will be notified of jury decisions via email on or before November 15, 2025.

Work delivery and check-in is December 13, 2025 (10 am – 5 pm by hand). An in-person opening reception will be held on December 18, 2025 (6-8 pm). The gallery is open to the public Monday-Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm during the exhibition. Work pick-up is February 7, 2026 (10 am – 5 pm), and unsold work shipped to Fine Line will be returned between February 10 and February 12, 2026. The show charges a 30% sales commission for any artwork sold. Fine Line provides 24/7 security and insurance coverage from receipt of work until the show's end (valued at 70% of sale price). Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance during transit. $800 in prizes will be awarded.
