About This Call

In Black and White is an online juried exhibition running December 10, 2025 - January 10, 2026. Site:Brooklyn is seeking works across all mediums that explore why color is a choice rather than a necessity in art. The exhibition will be juried by Alina Cohen, a writer based in Brooklyn with an MFA from the University of Montana whose fiction and criticism have appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, ArtReview, Artsy, and other publications.

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older working in any media. Only original works may be submitted. Applicants must submit a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 12 images (including up to 3 videos). The entry fee is $26.00 for three images, with an additional $10.00 for each additional image. All entries must be received by November 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM MT. Accepted artists will be notified on November 26, 2025.

Once accepted, artists will be required to upload high-resolution photo files of their work. All artwork must be priced for sale and available for sale during the exhibition. Artwork cannot be withdrawn before the end of the exhibit. Artists will retain a 60% commission on all exhibition sales. For questions, contact [email protected].
