About This Call
Space Untitled Art Gallery announces an open call for "In an Instant," a group exhibition dedicated to Polaroid photography. The show will explore the beauty of immediacy and the stories captured in instant film — a flash of light, a frozen second, a memory made tangible. Opening September 2025 at Space Untitled Art Gallery, 2422 N Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.
The gallery is seeking artists who work exclusively with Polaroid (at least as a starting point). Eligible works include original Polaroid/Fujifilm or similar photographs, emulsion lifts, transfers and alternative processing, Polaroid-based mixed media or sculptural work, or any other technique where the Polaroid/Fujifilm or similar is the foundation. All artwork must be framed and ready to hang.
Submission deadline: August 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee: $27.00 plus $9.00 media fee. Submit up to 5 images of your work, title, dimensions, and medium of each piece, and an artist bio or statement (max 200 words). Instagram handle or website optional. Contact: [email protected].
