IMPERMANENCE

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to IMPERMANENCE, an online exhibition celebrating the beauty in temporary moments. Artists are invited to capture what it means to embrace the temporary and find beauty in what is destined to fade, exploring the passing of time, the fragility of the human experience, the relentless evolution of nature, and the ever-evolving world around us.

Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total submissions. JPEGs are due by Friday, February 21, 2025 at midnight MST. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, March 21, 2025. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

The exhibition is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. All fine art mediums are accepted (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, digital art). AI-generated work will not be accepted. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits will not be considered. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. Images must be in JPEG/JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, maximum 5 MB. Accepted video formats include MOV, MP4, WMV with aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, resolution minimum 640x480, maximum 1920x1080, file size under 100 MB. Selection is by director's choice, curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. Artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
