About This Call
imotif is an open call for iPhone and iPad photography submissions presented by Sohn Fine Art Gallery, located in Lenox, MA in the Berkshires. Any format photograph taken with an iPhone or iPad can be submitted. Up to 12 images may be submitted for a one-time $15 entry fee.
Accepted artists will be notified by December 30, 2017. The exhibition runs February 2 - March 19, 2018, with a reception on Saturday, February 24, 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. All accepted work will be printed and framed by Sohn Fine Art on archival, heavyweight watercolor paper with white wood frames. Artists are responsible for payment and will receive 30% off the retail price. All artwork must be limited editions or one-of-a-kinds and will be for sale, with Sohn Fine Art Gallery and the artist splitting the retail commission 50/50. The People's Choice Award Winner, decided by public vote, will receive one archival pigment print of their chosen work in any size up to 40" x 60" on a substrate of their choice, valued at $450. Artists retain all copyrights and unsold framed photographs are taken home by the artist. Curators are Cassandra Sohn, Gallery Owner & Director, and John Clarke, Artist and iPhone Photographer.
