iMOTIF: iPhone Photography Exhibition

iMOTIF is an open call for iPhone and iPad photography submissions presented by Sohn Fine Art Gallery, located in Lenox, MA, in conjunction with Cultural Pittsfield's 10 x 10 Upstreet Arts Festival. Any square format photograph taken with an iPhone or iPad can be submitted. Up to 12 images may be submitted. The submission deadline is November 27, 2016. Accepted artists will be notified by December 16, 2016. The exhibition will be on view at Sohn Fine Art Gallery from January 27 – March 20, 2017, with a reception on Saturday, February 18, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. A total of 112 photographs will be accepted into the exhibition.

Submissions must be made through CaFÉ in JPEG format with a resolution of 72 ppi, dimensions of 1920 pixels on the long side, and file size not exceeding 5 MB. The submission fee is $15. If your work is accepted, you will be responsible for paying $75 per piece for printing and framing by Sohn Fine Art Gallery. Photographs will be printed on fine art, archival, heavyweight watercolor paper at 8" x 8", framed with a white wood frame with a final outer dimension of 10" x 10". You retain all copyrights to your image. If your framed photograph does not sell during the exhibition, you take the entire piece home. All artwork must be limited editions and will be offered for sale at $300 each, with Sohn Fine Art Gallery and the artist splitting the retail commission 50/50.
