Idea Capital Awards 2027

Idea Capital recognizes risk-taking Atlanta artists. Awards are designed to support new experimental art projects. Through our awards, we are working to build a strong cultural ecology of innovation. Idea Capital offers awards at two levels: The Idea Capital Catalyst Award, for emerging artists or artists proposing a small or early-stage project ($1000 stipend); The Idea Capital Vanguard Award, for more established artists or artists proposing a project further along in development ($2500 stipend). A third special award is also available: The Susan Antinori Visual Artist Award, for artists bringing a fresh, experimental perspective to traditional 2D and 3D media ($5000 stipend). All applications are considered general-inquiry applications. Awards are allocated as deemed appropriate by the jurors based on the applicant's experience and the project scope. Grant announcements will be made in January 2027.
