Icy Elegance: A Virtual Juried Photo Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers to participate in Icy Elegance, a Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit. This exhibition focuses on photography that captures the ethereal beauty of ice, including abstracts of icy textures and patterns, landscapes of snowscapes and frozen vistas, macro shots of ice crystals and frost, and conceptual works evoking the ethereal qualities of winter. The exhibit is open to photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels, whether professional or amateur, and welcomes creative shots and interesting perspectives captured with any camera type.

Submissions must include 3-5 photographs in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding. The entry fee is $35.00 per artist. Photographers must be 18 years or older, and all submitted work must be created by the submitting artist. The submission deadline is January 17th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Selected photographs will be displayed in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com beginning January 31st, 2025. A virtual reception and awards presentation will be held on February 5th, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST via Zoom. Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mention ($35). All artists will be notified by email on January 24th, 2025. The juror is Joanne Henig, curator and co-founder of Photo Art Pavilion. By submitting, artists grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms, with credit given to the artist's name and image title.
