Icebreaker 7: National Juried Exhibition

Icebreaker 7 is the seventh annual juried exhibition sponsored by Ice Cube Gallery, a contemporary artist-run gallery located in the River North Arts District of Denver. The juror is Ivar Zeile, owner and director of Plus Gallery and a prominent figure in Denver's arts community.

Entry fee is $35 for three images, then $5 per additional image, up to five images total. Submissions must include 3-5 work samples (images, audio, or video). The submission deadline is October 31, 2015. Accepted entries will be notified via email on November 18, 2015. Artwork must be received by December 19th by 5pm. The exhibition runs January 7-30, 2016, with an opening reception on January 8, 6-9 pm. Artwork pickup is January 31, 10am-3pm and February 1, 9am-12pm.

Artwork must be ready to hang or display. Installation or multi-piece works must include a detailed diagram. Artists submitting time-based media must provide their own equipment. Maximum weight is 50 lbs. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include a return shipping label. Shipped works can only be received Thursdays-Saturdays, 12-5 pm. Ice Cube Gallery retains a 25% commission on works sold during the exhibition. All artworks must remain on display for the entire exhibition period. The juror has the right to reject any work that does not meet quality standards or is not identical to the work juried from digital images.
