About This Call
The Plymouth Center for the Arts announces the third annual i-Phonography competition, celebrating mobile device photography. This competition invites photographers of all ages to submit images taken with mobile devices, cell phones, tablets, or iPads. Membership is not required.
Submissions must be uploaded between August 1, 2016 and October 8, 2016. Entry fee is $10 per image, with a maximum of 15 images per photographer. The competition will select the best 50 images for an online exhibition running from November 5th through mid-January 2015. Accepted images and prize winners will be announced October 26th, with the online show going live November 2nd.
Five prizes will be awarded: First Place ($100), Second Place ($75), Third Place ($50), and two Honorable Mentions. All five awardees will receive ribbons and certificates. Their images will be printed, matted, and framed at PCA's expense and displayed at the Art Center's Winter/Holiday show. Awardees will be invited to the reception to receive their awards. Announcements will be made via www.artsplymouth.org.
