About This Call
I Choose, Therefore I Am is a peaceful protest and public art project created and curated by artist Rachelle LeBlanc. The project draws awareness to recent events concerning women's rights and provides artists working in fiber and textile-based techniques a place to exhibit their work by expressing their perspective on how these changes affect their lives. The project addresses rights including the right to choose for oneself, to live free from violence and discrimination, reproductive rights, sexual rights including the LGBTQ community, and freedom from exploitation.
