Humorous 2025 - 2nd Juried Annual Exhibition

Humorous 2025 is the 2nd annual international juried exhibition celebrating wit, satire, and playful absurdity in visual art. This exhibition invites artists to showcase work infused with humor in all its forms, from lighthearted whimsy to biting satire and laugh-out-loud exaggerations.

The exhibition welcomes all 2D and 3D visual art forms, abstract and representational. Artists are encouraged to explore diverse dimensions of humor including playful portraiture and character caricatures, satirical social and political commentary, visual puns and wordplay, absurd and surreal humor, comics and graphic narratives, sci-fi and fantasy humor, everyday life with a twist, eco-irony and environmental satire, pop culture and nostalgia parody, animal antics, and abstract and conceptual wit. Submissions are international and open to all artists.

Selected artworks will be exhibited in an online group exhibition from May 24 to July 24, 2025. Submission is free; a USD 35 selection fee applies only if work is chosen by the jury. Artists may submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 accepted per artist. Selected artists receive exhibition on Exhibizone's platform (which has reached over 10 million global art lovers), featured placement on Artsy.net, publication in the exhibition catalogue, lifetime exhibition links, promotional materials, artwork reviews from visitors, analytics reports, and a certificate of participation. Up to 10 artists will receive an Honorable Mention award with a personalized digital certificate. Selected artworks may also be featured in various magazines and publications within the Biafarin art network.
