HUMANITY

HUMANITY is an exhibition seeking artwork that explores what we recognize as human emotions, human endeavors, and human gestures. The theme invites artists to go beneath the surface to reveal hidden aspects of their subject through symbolism, personal stories, and metaphor. Show HUMANITY through your personal perspective.

This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (video is not eligible). Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Submit only work that will be available at the time of the exhibit and will remain for its entirety. All images must be in JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi, with a maximum file size of 5 mb. You may submit 1-20 images.

Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry (up to 20 total). Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Winners will be displayed in the online gallery at www.cultural-center.org. Awards: First Place $300, Second Place $200, Third Place $100. Notification will be sent by email in September 2020. Juror selection is Director's choice with no personal feedback provided. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist's website.
