About This Call
HUMANITY is an international online exhibition exploring the theme of humanity at a crossroads. The call invites artists to address cultural, social, political, and economic inequalities and show humanity through their perspective—the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly.
Accepted pieces will be displayed in an online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening is scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2022.
Entry fees are $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional entry fees. All images must be submitted in JPEG format with a minimum size of 1,200 pixels on the longest side and maximum file size of 5 MB. The call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except film/video. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Artists receive 100% of sales proceeds. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
