Human Figure Group Art Show

Memento Mori Gallery is featuring artwork inspired by the human form for the month of February. The gallery is located in the 40West Arts District, part of the art walk circuit, and receives good foot traffic on First Fridays. The First Friday reception on February 3, 2023 (6-9pm) will include music and refreshments.

Submissions must be 2D or 3D artwork inspired by the human form, with a maximum size of 6x6 feet, ready to hang or display. The entry fee is $20 per piece, and artists can submit up to 3 pieces. Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sales going to the gallery. Out-of-state entries are welcome and must be shipped to the gallery by the drop-off date (January 31, 2023); artists should include a scan-based return shipping label for unsold work. This is a non-juried show open to all US residents. Entry fee is waived for those who have attended the gallery's figure drawing events. Entry into the show includes free admission to the February edition of First Sunday Figure Drawing on February 5, 2023, which features three rounds of timed sketches between 1-30 minutes.
