Hudson Valley MOCA 2nd Annual Juried Exhibition

Hudson Valley MOCA invites national artists 18 years or older to submit original works in all media executed during the past two years and never previously exhibited at Hudson Valley MOCA. Up to four images of artwork may be submitted, with a non-refundable $10 entry fee per image. Current Hudson Valley MOCA membership is required to be eligible; membership must remain current through the exhibition closing date.

Submissions are due online via CAFE by May 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Selected artists will be notified by June 1, 2020 via email. The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, July 11, 2020 and runs through September 13, 2020. Juror Jen Mergel is a Boston-based contemporary art curator and former Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Prize awards include First Prize $500, Second Prize $250, Third Prize $100, and Visitors' Choice Upgraded Membership to Benefactor level.

Two-dimensional work must be framed and ready for installation with hanging hardware already installed; work cannot exceed 84 inches in any dimension or 75 pounds. Three-dimensional work cannot exceed 84 inches in any dimension or 100 pounds and should be accompanied by a pedestal or be ready for freestanding display. Shipped artwork must arrive between June 14 - July 1, 2020; hand deliveries are accepted on June 17, June 24, or by appointment. Hudson Valley MOCA takes 50% commission on sales.
