About This Call
The Hudson Valley Art Association invites submissions for its 87th Annual National Juried Exhibition at The Lyme Art Association Gallery in Old Lyme, CT. The exhibition runs from June 19 to August 6, 2020.
Work must be original in the following media: Oil, Acrylic, Tempera, Watercolor, Sculpture, Pastel, or Graphic (drawing, intaglio, lithograph, or woodcut print). In the spirit of the Hudson River School of art tradition, jurors are looking for submissions which are original representational images that display aesthetic appeal and technical skill. The jury of awards includes: Oil - TM Nicholas, Watercolor - Bob Perkowski, Pastel and Graphics - Claudia Seymour, and Sculpture - Janice Mauro.
Entry fee is $50.00. Submissions must include 1-6 images. The entry deadline is April 10, 2020. Artists will be notified of acceptance on May 3, 2020. Receiving days are June 13-14, 2020 from 10 AM-5 PM. The awards reception is Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Work removal is August 7-9, 2020. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 10 AM-5 PM. The Hudson Valley Art Association is not responsible for lost or damaged work.
