About This Call
The Hotter 'N Hell National Art Exhibition is a juried show featuring all art forms that use fire and heat as part of the creative process, including ceramics, glass-blowing, welded sculpture, poured metals, wood-burning, metalsmithing, burned textiles, and photos using fire. The exhibition is open to all artists within the United States. Cash prizes will be awarded: Best in Show ($500) and Second Place ($250).
Entry fee is $35 for one to three works, with one detail image for each piece included at no additional cost. Submissions must be made via CaFÉ by August 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury dates are September 1-30, 2025, with acceptance notifications sent October 1, 2025.
All submitted work must use fire and/or heat in its production and be ready for display. Work requiring special installation is the artist's responsibility. No work can exceed eight feet in any dimension. Artists are responsible for shipping or delivering works by November 1, 2025. The exhibition runs through January 31, 2026, with the final pickup date March 1, 2026.
