About This Call
Hot Topics is a juried exhibition exploring how current events and global issues impact creative work. The curators invite artists to submit works that explore their creative conceptualization of a hot topic of today, using their unique perspective and preferred medium to raise awareness.
The exhibition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Up to two works may be submitted. No reproductions or derivatives of original art are accepted. An artist statement of 150 words or less is required that describes how the submitted work expresses your hot topic.
Entry fee is $30.00 and allows submission of up to 2 different works in any 2D or 3D medium. The fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibit. Payment is by credit card or PayPal only. The exhibition runs March 1-30, 2024. Jury dates are January 22-25, 2024. Submission is exclusively through CAFE (CallForEntry).
