Honeywell Annual Fine Art Exhibition

The Honeywell Annual Fine Art Exhibition is a juried competition hosted by the Clark Gallery, located in the Honeywell Center in Wabash, Indiana. The Clark Gallery hosts at least 10 exhibits per year featuring students, amateurs, and professionals, with foot traffic exceeding 170,000 guests annually. The gallery is open Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm, with additional hours during events at the Honeywell Center.

Artists may submit work in three categories: Painting, Drawing, and Other Art Forms. Drawing includes work created with graphite pencils, pen and ink, inked brushes, wax color pencils, crayons, charcoals, chalk, pastels, markers, stylus, or metals like silverpoint. Pastel artists who fill the surface as a painter may display in the painting category. The Other Art Forms category accepts any medium except photography, which is featured in a separate fall competition. Prints and giclées are not accepted; only original artwork is allowed. All artwork must be original and completed within five years of the entry deadline. Work previously accepted into any Honeywell Arts & Entertainment competition may not be re-entered.

Wall-hung entries must be framed with a hanger, except for gallery-wrapped canvas with images that bleed over edges and no exposed staples. Three-dimensional work must be stable and cannot require ceiling suspension, water, perishable food, or electricity. Submissions must not exceed 8.5 ft tall, 2 ft in depth, or 5 ft wide. Subject matter must be appropriate for all ages. The entry fee is $25.00, and artists may submit 1–3 images. The application deadline is January 5, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artwork must arrive by January 24, 2025. The exhibition runs January 27–February 26, 2025, with a reception on February 26 at 5:30 pm. Awards include Best of Show ($200), category prizes ($125, $100, $75 for first, second, and third place in each category), and six honorable mentions. HAE retains a 20% commission on all sales.
