Holy Moly, 2020! The Year 'Til Now

Holy Moly 2020 / The Year 'Til Now is a juried exhibition at Niza Knoll Gallery in Denver's Santa Fe Art District. Entries must be original artworks that reflect the artists' personal contemplation of current events—pandemic, protests, and broader questions about change, fear, and confusion. Artists are encouraged to go beyond the depiction of icons in their expression. The entry fee is $35.00 for 1 to 3 entries.

Artwork specifications: 2D work can be no larger than 48 inches wide by 72 inches long and must be ready to hang with secure wire on the back. 3D work must not exceed 50 pounds; if hung on a wall, it cannot exceed 25 pounds; if displayed on a pedestal, it should be no larger than 24 x 24 inches at the base. All artwork must be original, well executed, clean, dry, and ready to display. No reproductions or giclees. Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pickup.

Important dates: Entry deadline is September 4, 2020. Artists will be notified September 8, 2020. Accepted artwork must be delivered to the gallery at 915 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204 on September 15 between 3 and 6 p.m. The exhibit runs September 18 – October 31, 2020. Pickup is November 1, 2020. The gallery retains a 40% commission of retail sale price; artists receive 60%. All accepted artwork will be exhibited for sale on the gallery website. The juror is Victoria Eubanks, an established artist with over 60 exhibition credits and extensive teaching experience.
