Holiday Small Works Show

The Kansas City Stockyards Gallery invites artists to submit artwork for the Holiday Small Works Show, running November 19th through January 13th. The exhibition will feature 2D or 3D artwork in any media with dimensions of 14 inches or less in all directions (frames or pedestals do not count toward dimensions). The opening reception is November 19th from 5-9 pm and is free and open to the public. Artists are encouraged to attend.

Accepted artists must drop off work on Friday, November 12th (1-5 pm) or Saturday, November 13th (11 am-3 pm). Artists shipping work must ensure it arrives by November 12th and are responsible for return shipping costs. A paid return shipping label with tracking number must be included in the shipping box or crate; stamps or money will not be accepted. Shipping insurance is recommended, and packing peanuts should not be used. Artwork must be original and ready to hang with a wire hanging apparatus on the back. The gallery has shelves and pedestals available for 3D work.

Unsold work must be picked up on Saturday, January 14th (11 am-3 pm) or Monday, January 16th (1-5 pm). The gallery will ship back unsold work on these dates. Entry fee is $10.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee for each additional submission. Submit 1-10 images of your work. The application deadline is October 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
