Holiday Road: The Art of Getting There

Holiday Road is a national juried exhibition organized by TAGat120ART, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the unbridled pursuit of creative expression. The theme asks artists to think about the journey and the art of getting there. Planes, trains and automobiles, horseback or barge. Highways, byways, waterways and paths less traveled. Draw it, paint it, assemble it, or photograph it and show us how you got there and what you saw along the way.

The exhibition will be presented as a simultaneous live and online show, hanging in the downtown Taylor, TX gallery, 120Art, through December 4, 2021. Artwork will be separated into two categories: 2D and photography. All artists 18 years or older working in painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media are invited to submit up to 3 pieces for jury selection. Entry fee is $35.00 for up to 3 pieces. Submit images of your work at 120 dpi to www.artist.callforentry.org no later than midnight, October 9, 2021. Successful entries will be announced by October 15, 2021. Work must be delivered to TAGat120ART, 120 W. 2nd Street, Taylor, TX 76574, no later than October 27, 2021.

The artist reception opens at 4pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Cash prizes will be awarded in each of the 2 categories: 1st prize - $500, 2nd prize - $250, and 3rd prize - a Jerry's Artarama Gift card. Works not sold during the show will be shipped out at artist's expense or picked up in person no later than December 7, 2021. TAGat120ART will collect a 40% commission from the sale of all work. All artwork must be in display condition and framed unless constructed not to need a frame. Artists are required to carry insurance on their artwork.
