About This Call
The Waterloo Center for the Arts' Holiday Arts Festival has been happening annually for over 55 years. It is a premier indoor arts festival, kicking off the holiday shopping season, taking place Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. All mediums are welcome and emerging artists are encouraged to apply. The festival expects average attendance of 2500-3000 people.
In order to maintain the highest level of quality and variety of original artwork, all artists must apply annually through a jury selection process. Each artist must submit 6 images (5 images representative of their current work plus 1 image showing an indoor booth display). Artists will be notified of jury results by September 19, 2025. There is a $15 non-refundable application fee.
Booth sizes available include Small (8' X 8' or smaller) for $50, Standard (10' X 10') for $100, and Large (10' X 20') for $200. Sponsorships are available for small booths. One 6-foot table, chairs, and electrical hook-up are available by request at no extra cost. Early setup is available Friday, November 7 from 9:00am - 5:00pm, with day-of setup Saturday from 6:00-9:00am. Artists are expected to participate both days and may not leave prior to the close of the festival. Overnight security will be provided, and festival volunteers will be available to assist with loading, unloading, and booth-sitting.
