Holiday Art Market (HART) 2017 at Foothills Art Center

The 2017 Annual Holiday Art Market (HART) at Foothills Art Center is the premier venue for fine art and craft handmade in Colorado. This is the 43rd HART, running from November 10 – December 30, 2017. Admission is free to the public. The Market attracts thousands of shoppers who have spent in excess of $100,000. Artwork by selected artists is displayed cohesively in a festive, holiday setting.

Foothills Art Center seeks fine art and fine craft in all media suitable for holiday shopping: oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, pencil, paper, printmaking, photography, digital arts, mixed-media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, metal, wood, edibles, and holiday-themed items. Artists are juried on their body of work and their artwork is shown by consignment only. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns and molds will not be accepted. Historically, items priced between $3.00 and $650.00 have sold best (fine art up to $1,000.00). Accepted work must be ready to display with proper hanging mechanisms for wall art (wire with wrapped ends or D rings; no sawtooth hangers).

Entry fee is $30.00. Submit 5-10 images via CaFE that accurately represent your body of work. Notifications will be sent via email by September 1, 2017. Accepted artists' contracts are due by September 15, 2017. All artwork must be hand-delivered October 31 - November 4, 2017, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment only. FAC retains a 50% commission on sales (40% for artists who volunteer 28 hours over the 7-week period). All proceeds benefit local Colorado artists and Foothills Art Center programming.
